President Rodrigo Duterte stated that there's no one in the current batch of politicians fit to be the next President of the Philippines.
The President spoke infront of newly-appointed government officials on Tuesday saying that those who are aspiring to become the next leader of Philipppines should not be afraid to kill to protect his country.
Duterte also claimed that he will “stick to his guns” threatening anyone who would dare to “destroy” his country.
After taking office in 2016, Duterte graced the battlefront of his “war on drugs”—the focal point of his administration.
Duterte said he would not endorse any presidential candidate for 2022 elections in a televised press conference back in November 2019.
He constantly discouraged his daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, from following his footsteps to the presidency.
