DOH: Patients checked for Covid-19 down to 43; 592 tests negative


Department of Health disclosed on Monday that more patients tested negative for COVID-19 as admitted patients nationwide dwindled to 43.

DOH's case tracker revealed that a total of 592 patients under investigation (PUIs) were discharged after testing negative of the virus.

Globally, the total nuber of people who went under monitoring for the fatal disease is now at 638.

COVID-19's death worldwide death toll reached more than 3,000 with majority of fatalities from China, ground zero of the virus.

COVID-19 infections reached more than 88,000 globally with infections reported in every continent excluding Antartica.
