The 13 repatriates from the coronavirus-hit Japanese cruise ship who have manifested symptoms of the virus are now in stable condition, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
Assistant Health Secretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said of the number, 10 yielded negative results for Covid-19.
They are among the 445 Filipinos evacuated from the M/V Diamond Princess who are quarantined at the New Clark City (NCC) Athletes' Village upon repatriation.
Vergiere said the protocol in the NCC quarantine facility is if the repatriate shows symptoms of respiratory illness, he or she will be brought to the DOH referrral hospital and will be tested.
Meantime, the number of Filipinos abroad who tested positive for Covid-19 has risen to 86 as of Feb. 29, the latest of which was a 41-year-old woman in Singapore. She is the second Filipino Covid-19 patient in the said country after the first case confirmed on Feb. 23.
