State weather agency PAGASA announced that the Northeast Monsoon prevails in the country affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

The said weather system will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains.

Meanwhile, Visayas and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA advised residents of Visayas and Mindanao to beware of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
