There are now 52 confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in the country as of Thursday as three more Filipinos test positive for the virus, the Department of Health (DOH) reported.

Patient no. 50 is a 69-year old female confined at the Medical City, while patient no. 51 is a 26-year-old male currently admitted at the Makati Medical Center, both of whom had no travel history outside the country, according to the DOH.

Meanwhile, a 79-year-old female who previously traveled to the United Kingdom is the 52nd and most recent confirmed Covid-19 case, confined at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center.

The DOH continues to urge the public to cooperate and help in its continuous contact tracing efforts.
