Pinaglabanan bridge reopens after over a year of reconstruction

The Pinaglabanan Bridge has been re-opened on Wednesday after more than a year of reconstruction.

The Pinaglabanan Bridge, also known as the Old Sta. Mesa Bridge or San Juan Bridge, connects the cities of Manila and San Juan.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar, and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman General Danny Lim led the opening of the bridge.

Zamora mentioned that the Pinaglabanan Bridge will help ease the traffic as motorists could already pass by.

Moreover, Zamora did not give an approximate figure of motorists that will benefit the recently-opened bridge.
