Another Filipino in Hong Kong tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), two days after another Filipino was confirmed with the same virus.
Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Brigido Dulay disclosed the Philippine consulate in Hong Kong confirmed the patient is the fifth Filipino in Hong Kong infected with Covid-19.
The quarantined patient was asymptomatic or did not show any symptoms of the virus.
Meantime, the Department of Health (DOH) revealed that two repatriates quarantined at New Clark City are two of the latest Covid-19 cases.
Health Assistant Secretary Maria Rosario Vergeire disclosed patients 25 and 26 are asymptomatic.
The DOH is still validating the information that they do not have respiratory illness symptoms by getting their complete medical history.
Meanwhile, 200 Filipinos repatriated from Japan under quarantine at New Clark City temporary facility are scheduled to go home Wednesday.
