Pres. Duterte against 'no touch' policy imposed by PSG amid COVID-19 outbreak

President Rodrigo Duterte is against the “no touch” policy imposed by the Presidential Security Group (PSG) to protect him from contracting the Coronavirus Disease 2019.

The president said he will not decline invitations. He will shake hands with everybody, go to Mindanao to visit soldiers, wounded and dead warriors that fought recently in Maguindanao.

The president said if it is his time to go, he will accept his fate.

The PSG order, implemented as a precautionary measure for the president and his family, prevents close contact and handshaking with President Duterte.
